#BETAWARDS2016 MORE WINNERS EMERGE 

Samuel L. Jackson has received the Lifetime Achievement Award.


And in his acceptance speech he aid:

“It’s an honor to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2016 BET Awards later this month,” the actor said in a statement. “I’m humbled to be recognized by my peers and to join the company of the exemplary recipients before me.”

Also, Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams will be recognized for using his celebrity platform to shine a light on important causes.

“Jesse has proven to be a true pioneer of our generation,” BET said in a statement. “[He] is a refreshing new face of activism during a time of crisis in this country.”
